This is the 2nd movie I watched during last weekend. Another movie starred by Andy Lau. Am I Andy Lau fans? Of course not but feel that Andy Lau's recent movies also quite good, can say his movie is better than other Hong Kong movies.
Anyway, the main actor of this movie is Jet Li (as Chin Yun), neither Andy Lau (as Er Hu) or Takeshi Kaneshiro (as Wu Yang). The story is about the brotherhood between the 3 mans, talking about how they join the Qing Dynasty's army in China and fight together against TaiPeng Rebellion until get recognized and rewarded by the Queen at the end.
I quite pity Er Hu. His wife (starred by Xu Jinglei) is not faithful to him becau
se of Chin Yun and killed by Chin Yun who he trusts from the beginning until the end even they having different opinion. Due to the death of Er Hu, Wu Yang decided go to kill Chin Yun since he breach their agreement (killed own brother). Can Chin Yun survive? Same answer...go to watch yourself la......:P
The lesson I learn from this movie is must work together to fight against the enemy. If lack of trust and cooperative between the brothers, it will end up with "lose" to the enemy.
