When 5 Hollywood stars - Tug Speedman (starred by Stiller), Jeff Portnoy (starred by Black), Kirk Lazarus (starred by Downey), Alpa Chino (by Brandon T.Jackson) and Kevin Sandusky (by Jay Baruchel) head into the jungles of Vietnam to shoot a war movie called Tropic Thunder, they have no idea how real things can get. Therefore, the movie director has a plan to force them all to act real by bringing them to real war environment but unfortunately they really meet with a big group chinese terrorist in the director's plan. They are not soldier, just good actor, Can they fight with the terrorist and survive from the real war?
